Though its a too early to say this, guess I would not be able to write anything in this space until 2nd Jan :-) In a while I would be leaving to my hometown(Vizag) to celebrate the New year with my family and frens there after 5 years. So hope it turns out to be a special one for me and brings in a change....!!
I have mixed feelings and lots to write about the year that 2007 had been in my life but probably would do that once I am back. As any other year end, I am in a nostalgic self this year too but undoubtedly this year has made me dwindle between two extremes - Tremendous highs and lows.
Yet in a mood filled with nostalgia, I bid farewell to 2007 for it had taught me lifes toughest lessons and yet survive. Guess thats an achievement in itself. I have always watched rather sneaked into my Dad's diary(the amazing writer that he is and he does till date), writing the ending note for an year and welcoming words for the coming one. Today I feel good doing the same thing.Since I am running out of time now, I would wind it up with one nice quote I read today...
May your battles be few, your pleasure many,
your wishes and dreams fulfilled.
At the sound of the tolling midnight bell a brand new year will begin.
Let's raise our hopes in a confidant toast, to the promise it ushers in.
Goodbye my dear 2007...!! Welcome 2008.....:-))
